A $0.85 surcharge fee is applicable on all Loomis Express Manual Paper Waybills.

All shipping charges will be considered "prepaid" unless otherwise noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of shipping. An additional $5.50 charge will be applied when transportation charges are paid by the third party.

Aviation charges have been incorporated into the tariff rates. All shipments traveling through the Loomis Express air network will be subject to an additional percentage surcharge of 4.9% based on the total air freight charges.

Nav charges have been incorporated into the tariff rates. All shipments traveling through the Loomis Express air network will also be subject to an additional 3% surcharge, based on the total air freight charges.

All shipments moving through the Loomis Express air and/or ground networks may be subject to an additional surcharge without notice. Loomis Express reserves the right to assess fuel and other surcharges on shipments. The duration of any surcharge will be determined in Loomis Express' sole discretion. By tendering a shipment to Loomis Express, the customer agrees to pay the surcharges, as determined by Loomis Express. Click here to view the current Fuel Charges Table. An additional charge of $5.00 will apply for all hard copies provided.

An administration fee of $1.75 will apply per invoice.

An additional charge will apply if a recipient’s address is found to be incomplete, incorrect or illegible on an air waybill. Loomis Express will attempt to find the correct address for the shipment to complete delivery. Please note that Loomis Express cannot deliver to a post office box or R.R. # location.

Use of post office box numbers, R.R. #, incorrect postal codes and former addresses for recipient’s who have relocated, are examples of errors requiring address corrections. A surcharge of $5.00 per shipment will apply.

If Loomis Express can not deliver on the first attempt, we will automatically attempt to redeliver on the second business day at no additional charge. The Redelivery surcharge is applied after 2 unsuccessful delivery attempts and a 3rd delivery attempt is made. A surcharge of $5.00 per shipment will apply.

An additional charge of $8.00 will apply where no account number appears or an incorrect account number is inserted on the Bill of Lading by the shipper.

Any package measuring 60" (152.4 cm) in length or greater, or any article, pail or container not fully encased in an appropriate shipping container will incur a surcharge of $12.00 per piece. This surcharge will also be applied to shipments that require repackaging due to inappropriate or insufficient original packaging.

Loomis Express reserves the right to re-weigh all shipments or take the Volumetric weight (also referred to as Dimensional or Cubic Weight), and charge the highest of the total re-weigh or total Volumetric weight per shipment. Volumetric weight is calculated by multiplying the dimensions of your package by a cubing factor of 15 lbs per cubic foot. Residential deliveries are provided (require a contact name and telephone number) for an additional charge. A residence is a home, including a business operating out of a home that does not have an entrance open for public access. Residential locations are not determined by the recipient information or by the neighbourhood in which the building is located. A surcharge of $5.00 per shipment will apply to all shipments to residential areas.

• All applicable inbound shipments will now be charged a RAS fee of $30.00. Shipments greater than 100 lbs will be charged the rate of $0.30/lb.
• All applicable U.S. outbound shipments will be adjusted to $10.00. Shipments greater than 100 lbs will be charged the rate of $0.10/lb.
• All applicable International outbound shipments will be charged $30.00. Shipments greater than 100 lbs will be charged the rate of $0.30/lb.

An additional charge will apply to any package or article equal to or greater than 34 kg (75 lb).

• Domestic shipments: $12 (Per Piece)

Shipments traveling to a pre-determined list of destinations that are under trade embargo or security risk are subject to an additional fee. Restricted Access Destination is a location that meets at least one of the following conditions:

• Trade Embargo
• United Nations or U.S. State Department War and Conflict list
• Under terrorism threat
